I believe empathizing is a good quality to have from a perspective of understanding User Needs and Behavior. This also includes conducting research at every stage from conceptualization to design validation, usability testing and much more.
With similar design approach. Understanding of 3 dimensional surface and structure. And focusing more on ergonomics, forms, materials & production. And I strongly believe in as they say “Form follows function”.
